Shatta Wale: "I don't believe Yvonne Nelson's story; Sarkodie can't do that."

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has expressed skepticism on claims made by actress Yvonne Nelson, claiming that rapper Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, forced her to abort the child.

I don’t believe Yvonne Nelson’s story; Sarkodie can’t do that -Shatta Wale

She said that because Sarkodie was living with his mother at the time and was unprepared to take on fatherly responsibilities, he refused to accept responsibility for the pregnancy.
Excerpts from the book have been featured in news articles, circulated on social media, and evoked a wide range of emotions.
I phoned the man whose powerful seed had sprung in me, realizing that I wasn't the only one to blame for the circumstances. Michael Owusu Addo, better known by his stage name Sarkodie, is a well-known musician from Ghana.
Sarkodie was an aspiring musician who had the capacity to rise to prominence both in Ghana and beyond. The future, though, didn't seem certain at the moment, and it wasn't clear how he would find his way through the maze of existence. Achievement was not assured. In her memoir, which was released on Sunday, June 18, 2023, she stated, "He was still living with his mother and was not ready to carry a burden while he was being carried by his mother."
Shatta Wale added his voice to the viral exposé that has made Yvonne Nelson and Sarkodie the talk of Twitter, saying he can't trust Yvonne's side of the story because, in his opinion, Sarkodie is too talented to be guilty of the accusations made against him.

“Oh no sark can’t do that ? I don’t believe this aaaahhhh

“Sark? Naaaa.. He won’t even kill mosquito ..All be lie,” he wrote.

Yvonne wrote about how she found out she was pregnant in her book, and how she felt when she learned through a DNA test that Sarkodie was the baby's father.
