Kelvyn Boy has stated that if the chance arises, he is willing to work with Stonebwoy, the president of his old record label.
Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy
A big fan of Stonebwoy's, Kelvyn Boy expressed his desire to work with the Dancehall musician for a number of reasons. AccraGuy tweeted an interview with Kelvyn Boy from Guide Radio, in which he expressed his excitement about collaborating with Stonebwoy.
He said, "The only Ghanaian artist I need on my song for a lot of reasons is Stonebwoy; for a lot of reasons."
Kelvyn Boy went on to explain his reasons, saying that he wants to perform with Stonebwoy once again to show that he is not at odds with him and that he thinks having Stonebwoy in the group will help his songs get more exposure.
"For a variety of reasons, including the desire to sing with him once more, relive that emotion, help people declutter their minds, create music, and earn money. I'm aware that people will be eager to listen to a song that has Stonebwoy and me. Thus, in terms of business and other matters, all I want to do is record music with Stonebwoy once more," he stated.
In 2018, Kelvyn Boy became a part of Burniton Music Group, Stonebwoy's record label. But a year later, their collaboration came to an end due to a disagreement between the two artists.
Kelvyn Boy had two hits during his tenure with the label: "Toffee" and "Na You." Moreover, he had an appearance in Stonebwoy's hugely successful song "Kpoo k3k3."
